Ingredients
For the Aloo Tikki
- 4 Medium Potatoes (boiled & mashed)
- 3 tbsp Corn Flour
- 2 tbsp Bread Crumbs
- 2 Green Chillies (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp Ginger (grated)
- 2 tbsp Fresh Coriander (chopped)
- ½ tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
- ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder
- ½ tsp Gudora Chaat Masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp Oil for shallow frying
For the Chaat Toppings
- 1 cup Thick Curd (whisked)
- ¼ cup Tamarind Chutney
- ¼ cup Mint-Coriander Chutney
- ½ cup Fine Sev
- 2 tbsp Pomegranate Seeds
- 2 tbsp Fresh Coriander (chopped)
- 1 Small Onion (finely chopped)
- 1 Small Tomato (finely chopped)
Seasoning
- 1 tsp Gudora Chaat Masala
- ½ tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
- Red Chilli Powder (optional)
Instructions
Step 1 – Prepare the Tikki
In a mixing bowl, combine:
- Mashed potatoes
- Corn flour
- Bread crumbs
- Ginger
- Green chillies
- Coriander
- Roasted cumin powder
- Red chilli powder
- Gudora Chaat Masala
- Salt
Mix well and shape into medium-sized patties.
Step 2 – Fry the Tikkis
Heat oil on a non-stick pan.
Shallow fry the tikkis over medium heat until both sides turn golden brown and crispy.
Remove and keep warm.
Step 3 – Assemble the Chaat
Place two hot aloo tikkis on a serving plate.
Top with:
- Whisked curd
- Tamarind chutney
- Mint chutney
- Chopped onions
- Chopped tomatoes
- Fine sev
- Pomegranate seeds
Sprinkle:
